FBI named the attack Titan Rain. A few sensitive computer networks were

Chinese hacker group, supposedly supported by the government, assaulted
US computer networks at all possible levels. The goal of the attack was
to infect PCs with malware that can be activated later. As a result,
there were 750,000 zombified computers that could be used in DDoS
attacks. Hackers used email with some attractive offers compelling users to open up emails.

web host, the attack was said to have initiated. .Attack Targeted Whole Globe
and causing many connection failures on secure servers, The attack is
considered to be large enough for even Government systems to be taken
down easily.
